Internal right of priority
Article L. 612-3 of the Intellectual Property Code stipulates that the applicant for a French patent or his successor in title may, within a period of 12 months, submit a second application having totally or partially the same subject matter, the latter then retaining the benefit of the filing date of the initial application.
