IAM Patent 1000 2026: the firm and Matthieu Dhenne recommended

Dhenne Avocats and Matthieu Dhenne are listed in the 2026 edition of the IAM Patent 1000, published on 1 June 2026, for patent litigation in France: the firm is ranked in the bronze band and Matthieu Dhenne is recognised in his own right.

Published by IAM, the Patent 1000 identifies the most highly recommended patent firms and practitioners worldwide. The ranking is not based on an application: it is compiled from interviews conducted across the market — clients, fellow lawyers, patent attorneys — and from the matters firms report. Firms are placed in gold, silver and bronze bands, and practitioners are recognised separately.

This twofold recognition matches what we are: a practice entirely dedicated to patent litigation, in which the founding partner argues the cases himself. Before the Paris Judicial Court as before the Unified Patent Court, the quality of a case depends as much on the person who runs it as on the team that prepares it.
