Definition : Design licensing agreement
The licensing agreement for Design is an intellectual property contract under the terms of which the owner of a design or model grants one or more other persons - known as licensees - the enjoyment of the exclusive right of exploitation deriving from his title or from certain utilities of this right. Unlike an Assignment, a licence does not transfer the right on the design, which remains in the property of its holder.
