Arbitration is an alternative method of dispute resolution in which the parties involved choose to submit their conflict to one or more private individuals, called arbitrators, rather than to a state court. This process is often favored for its speed, confidentiality, and the ability for the parties to select experts who are knowledgeable in the relevant area of the dispute. The arbitrators issue a decision, known as an \"arbitral award,\" which carries the same binding authority as a judicial ruling, provided it is validated through a procedure called exequatur.<\/p>\n

La proc\u00e9dure se d\u00e9roule en trois grandes \u00e9tapes : la nomination des arbitres, l’instance, o\u00f9 les parties pr\u00e9sentent leurs arguments, et enfin la sentence arbitrale. Cette derni\u00e8re a force obligatoire, mais pour \u00eatre ex\u00e9cut\u00e9e, elle doit \u00eatre homologu\u00e9e par un tribunal (exequatur)<\/p>\n
